I had previously released a blue and yellow kit in honor of my grandfather's love for the Parramatta Eels (here), however the kit was torn to shreds for the bright colors, and probably the whole thing really lol so I took it down and have instead made a small mini using a lighter shade of blue as a neutral with the blue and yellow more as little color pops if that's the correct way to describe it lol
One of my fondest memories of my grandfather was when I was a little girl. I was born with a lazy muscle in my eye and surgery that was supposed to correct it when I was 3 instead made it worse, so from the age of 8 to 11 I had to go all the way from my home town Kyogle to the Royal Far West Children's Hospital in Manly, a suburb of Sydney. I spent 2-3 months alone in this hospital each year and because Pop was living in Sydney at the time he would come when he could and take me out for a few hours. These are some of my most cherished memories as it was very lonely for me at the hospital.
Two years after his passing the grief is still very strong, I don't know how long it will take for it to soften. Pop's favorite football team was Parramatta Eels who were commonly known as the Underdogs, I'm not really a footy fan so I don't know if they still are lol

Since I wanted to honor his memory with the colors of the Eels I am still going with that....just toning it down a lot lol
There are 5 patterned papers, 3 solids, 3 frames, 3 ribbons, 2 flowers, 1 bow, 1 binder clip and 1 button in this mini....I hope it is better liked than the previous one lol

Thank you for the beautiful kit. I think your grandfather would be pleased that you used the colors from his team. I do know its very hard to get over a relatives passing. My grandmother passed away about 20 years ago and I still have not gotten over it. I wish you best. Have a great day julie

Ohhh!!! Strange and lovely combination of blue and yellow, I really want to see the other one how looks. It’s a great way to grief the pain and honor your grandfather memory. I never met neither of my 2 grandpa’s so I really don’t know what it is, but I understand that when you love someone you really miss his/her forever. Blessings, hon.

Nice kit! Thanks! Just wanted to say that I am a big fan of BRIGHT colors! The more, the merrier, bring ‘em on! Pastels and neutrals aren’t restful, they’re boring and my eyes move on to something else. I think I would have liked the other kit, too. Just sayin’
