Yesterday my Mum took me for a walk over the Sawtell Headland pathway, I am keen to get more active and lose weight and my Mum makes for the perfect "walk buddy" lol not only helping to keep me motivated, but we have so much fun too
I loved it so much I decided to take my camera today so I could take pictures.....thank goodness the weather turned out beautiful. It started out pouring rain this morning so I wasn't sure if we'd make it. So glad we did
I took over 100 photos (120 at last count LOL) so I won't bore you all with them here, I did however upload the ones I liked best to my Flickr account, I will link that after the photos....I know it's a lot on one post, but I really had a hard time choosing my favorites to pop here lol I hope you all enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them
As we started the walk, I looked back and was presented with this gorgeous view:

I saw these flowers blooming yesterday and just knew I had to capture them....the variations in colour were amazing, some were pink, some yellow, and some were even very close to red:

I loved this view of the ocean:

Loving the wooden seat beside the pathway:

This is my gorgeous Mum, she hates having her photo taken, and hates even more if it is posted online lol but I squeezed it in with this one. I love taking photos from the back, there's a certain mystery and poignancy about them....in this one the viewer is left to wonder what Mum might be thinking about as she looks out over the ocean

A few more ocean views:

This is the view you are presented with as you come over the top part of the walk

The stairs from the headland down to Murray's Beach:

I took this photo because of the surfer on the walkway, I felt he highlighted the path and brought the picture into focus...if that makes sense lol

I came around the corner and was struck by how these trees looked:

And finally...I loved the curve in the path here and the bridge in the distance

If you're interested in seeing the rest of the photos, check them out in my Flickr
And finally....last but not least LOL in the batch of photos as I loaded them from my camera to computer, I forgot I'd taken these extra shots of the flowers Mum bought me, I took them in RAW format as I want to practise my extraction skills. For the first time ever I used the Pen Tool in Photoshop....and what a gem this tool is! I love it already lol and definitely recommend Googling for some tutorials
This freebie is ok to be used as a Designer Resource in kit creations, I don't require modification to the flower....let's face it, there's not much to be modified except to add it to another element and merge lol
I do ask though that it not be used to create another Designer Resource / Commercial Use item.

Here is a bigger shot of the photo I extracted it from:
