Scrapbook Graphics Design
A while back I scanned the back of one of my writing pads to use as an overlay. I used it for my Striped Cardboard Overlays further down on my blog (see the Overlays Category).
This cardboard overlay is 3600X3600 (12") 300dpi/ppi and is ok to be used as a designer resource for your kits or paper packs for PU/S4H/S4O. You may NOT use it to create another designer resource. No credit required

A little under 2 years ago (we are coming up to the 2 year anniversary next month), my grandfather passed away after a 30+ year battle with colon cancer....I still miss him so much 
After the funeral I made this kit in tribute to him, Pop was always a "True Blue" Aussie, and his favorite footy team was the Parramatta Eels whose colors are blue and yellow.
This kit includes 12 papers, 2 bows, 2 buttons, 2 curly ribbon frames, 1 flowers on stem, 2 forget me not flowers, 2 wooden frames, 2 raffia-wrapped frames, 2 paper flowers, 1 string, 2 small paper flowers, 2 stitches, 2 buttons with ties, 2 tied curly ribbons, 2 tied ribbons and 2 complete alphas with uppercase, lowercase, numbers and some extras. It is available in both Full Size (Digital Kit) and Tagger Size.
Obviously this particular color scheme won't be for everyone, it's not really my style either for scrapping at least, maybe for tags, I hope some of you can use it though

Edit September 07, 2011 - I've taken this kit and the previews down as it is being criticised nastily on another blog. I am aware the colors were kinda horrid for scrapping and found it difficult not only to create in those colors, but to scrap with also.
Normally I really couldn't give two hoots about some opinions, I don't design for the money OR to be the best as it is simply a hobby for me, but I find it surprisingly painful to see nasty comments on what for me was a memorial to my grandfather and so have taken it down. When I have the time, and the inclination I may create something in a different color scheme that will hopefully represent my grandfather just as well, if not better than the True Blue kit.

Still going through some of my files this morning, I can't believe I missed this one last cleanup! A little over 2 years ago I participated in an Australian Designer Collab for The Daily Scrapper called Spirit Of Australia. I made 12 papers (4 patterns and 8 solids) and an alpha for my contribution.
Papers are 3600X3600 (12"), 300dpi/ppi. Alpha includes uppercase, lowercase, numbers 0-9 and some extras.
Since it's been so long, I have renamed the files for my current design name, repackaged and uploaded here.....enjoy

Woo yes, it's another paper pack! This one's free though LOL
I found one more barely started kit in my unfinished kits folder....this is where I start all my kits and where a lot of them remained until today LOL this one didn't even have a name, the folder was just called 1402 which I assume is my shorthand for the date I started it (Feb 14) maybe it was intended to be a romantic Valentine's Day kit? Can't remember lol
Since I didn't have a name for this set, I have just named it for today's date, which is July 29 for me here in Australia
The color palette has some similar colors to the new kit I am working on, the yellows and browns look to be very similar, so you may be able to mix and match these papers with it, if I ever finish it lol
Once again I have had a blast playing with the Repper Pro Pattern Maker Program, the first 5 patterned papers are my original papers, and the rest were created with the program from them. There are 25 patterned papers for the pattern enthusiast, and 5 matching solids. All are 3600X3600 (12"), 300dpi/ppi and are for your Personal Use Only.
I would love to hear your feedback on the papers created with the program, love them? Hate them? Indifferent, whatever? lol Let me know

I didn't take as many photos as I would have liked this week, some I took are more private and some of my "subjects" do prefer not to have me post them online LOL so that lessens what I have to pick through as well. Nonetheless I do have several photos that are my favs this week
It was my birthday on Tuesday (July 26th) and my wonderful Mum bought me 2 bunches of gorgeous flowers....I love flowers but my husband is not the most romantic chocolate in the box so it's very rare I get them from him lol
Here are my two fav pics of the flowers...aren't they lovely?
Next to our front door we have a DVD cabinet, the top of this cabinet is my space for a few nic nacs ... I literally have to fight my hubby to keep any surfaces clutter free LMAO I just happened to be standing beside it yesterday morning and decided to take a quick pic of my fav candle....it's a strawberry scented candle and used to be about 3 times the height it is now. As it burns down I use a thin knife to slice off the top softened bit. The candle smells divine.
My final set of photos are of my adorable daughter....being a little poser I am never short of photos of her LOL
In this first photo I had just finished taking a photo of my Mum and a dear friend who has always been like my second Mum and still had the camera out, Samantha was expecting to hold my hand on the way out to the car and I snapped off a shot while her hand was up
These 2 photos were taken after a series of family shots and Samantha and Juston were hamming it up lol
In this pic, I love how the soft focus effect came into the photo, quite by accident!! lol
And in this last photo, I can't remember what she was doing, but the end effect of the photo is that it looks like Samantha is telling me off, hehe who knows, maybe she was LOL
Have to get out and about and start snapping away again
This morning I read an interesting post on DST Forums (in the private designer forum so I can't link it) about a new tool for making patterns....as I love patterns but often struggle to make a variety of interesting ones, I jumped at checking it out. The pattern tool is called Repper Pro and can be purchased at Repper Pro for a very reasonable price.
Have to say, I love playing with this program and could keep going all day LOL but sad as it is....I have "outside the computer" life to contend with today lol
I did however take one of my patterned papers from my recent Into The Night Kit to make 12 new patterned papers to match....and the bonus is you also get to play with them for free... hope you like them!
