Wow, three months already! I can't believe I have been an ex-smoker for three months already now....once upon a time I never thought I would be able to go three hours without a cigarette and look at me now

If I ever really needed another reason to stay strong in my quit, I have it. Three days ago I had three teeth extracted (made sure the dentist gave me lots of that lovely gas LOL) and my recovery time so far has been a walk in the park compared to the last time I had a tooth extracted.

Last time (still a smoker) I got dry socket, only I didn't realise that was what I had, I just knew I was in agony and finally went back to the dentist 5 days after the extraction to find out why it hurt so dang much lol

This time round has been almost completely pain free, I had some pain the first day, and a little after I wake up (I think because I have extractions on both sides so when I roll on my side it puts pressure there on damaged tissues lol) and really, the main thing that is bugging me is where he put the needles in for the anaesthetic LOL

Between this time and last time couldn't be more vastly different in the experience....and I DEFINITELY prefer this time haha

As of the time of this post I have been smoke free for 93 days, 2 hours and 24 minutes, I have saved approx $1,861.50 and somewhere out there are an extra 3,723 cigarettes that someone still trapped in the addiction is smoking....not me

I hope and fully plan to never again take up smoking, I like to think that I am stronger than the addiction now and that having educated myself and opened my eyes to the true nature of my addiction I can remain HAPPILY smoke-free for the rest of my life *grinz proudly*
